Aligning with best practices
During a scan, shifting anatomy and motion result from pillows decompressing under the patient’s body weight, and patients moving because they feel unstable. Efficiency, Precision, and image quality are sacrificed. Gathering lifting help, repositioning and repeat imaging cause excess “non-value” time. MRI is scheduled according to “one-time fits all” method.
KyphoLift standardizes the process from patient set up to image acquisition and brings a new efficiency to this long-standing complication. KyphoLift is designed by an MRI Technologist to eliminate manual lifting and provide a solid surface that improves patient experience and wait times. Amid staffing shortages, one technologist can operate and offer access to care to patients who otherwise would need multiple staff for lifting into position. The safe, controlled method empower staff to replicate studies at specific angles and mitigate searching for lifting help, re-positioning, and scheduling conflicts.
Our simple and effective solution empowers staff with the safe ‘no lift’ approach to increase efficiency and improve patient outcomes. A stable lifting platform and inclinometer in our system adds reproducibility factors for precise imaging when replications needed.
